Specialty Coffee Beans are grown in specific region that gives a unique flavour, The coffee Beans comes from the seeds of a coffee plant. They are referred to as coffea, These beans are harvested from coffee plants cherry like fruits looking which contains the seed surrounded by fleshy pulp, Then the process of extraction starts removal of the pulp and outer layer and revealing the green bean that is inside. These green beans are then roasted to develop their flavor and aroma before being ground and brewed to make coffee .

 

There are two main species of coffee plants that produce the beans used for commercial coffee production: Coffea arabica and Coffea robusta. Arabica beans are generally considered to have a more complex flavor profile with higher acidity and a wider range of flavors, while robusta beans are known for their stronger, more bitter taste and higher caffeine content.

 

Coffee beans are also classified based on their origin, with different regions around the world producing beans with distinct flavor profiles influenced by factors such as climate, altitude, soil composition, and processing methods. Some of the most well-known coffee-producing regions include Ethiopia, Colombia, Brazil, Kenya, and Indonesia.

 

In addition to origin, coffee beans can be further differentiated by their processing method. Common processing methods include washed (or wet-processed), natural (or dry-processed), and honey (or pulped natural) processing, each of which imparts unique characteristics to the beans.

 

One of the type of Specialty coffee bean comes from Ethiopia, Ethiopia is renowned for producing some of the world's finest specialty coffee beans. The country's diverse microclimates, high altitudes, and rich soil create ideal conditions for coffee cultivation, resulting in beans with distinctive flavors and profiles.

 

Ethiopian specialty coffee beans are known for their floral, fruity, and sometimes wine-like characteristics. They often exhibit bright acidity, complex flavor notes, and a range of aromas, making them highly sought after by coffee enthusiasts.

  • Yirgacheffe:Grown in the Yirgacheffe region, these beans are celebrated for their floral and citrusy notes, often with a tea-like quality,

 

  • Hambela: Hailing from Ethiopia region, These beans are the specialty beans with the taste notes of berry, Deep flower herbal and comes with honey notes

 

  • Colombia:Another region known for producing exceptional Specialty coffee , These beans are often characterized by their flavor of molasis, grape fruit nutty and are brown roast.
